As the last hours of 2025 simmer down, I’ve been thinking about everything we cooked, created, and shared together this year. When I started Culinary & Craft, I hoped it would become a cozy corner of the internet — a place where food meets family, where stories meet saucepans, and where a little bit of everyday magic sneaks into the kitchen. This year, you helped make that dream feel real.
A Year Stirred With Flavor
We cooked so many dishes together — comforting breakfasts, weeknight saviors, celebration meals, and those “I need something delicious right now” recipes that saved the day more than once. From the creamy indulgence of Marry Me Chicken to the cozy weekend bakes that filled our homes with warmth, each recipe carried a little piece of my life, and you welcomed it into yours.
Some of my favorites we created this year:
- Family-style comfort meals that turned chaotic evenings into something warm and grounding
- Quick lunches that kept us sane between errands, teens’ schedules, and the cats trying to steal bites
- Holiday spreads that brought together generations, stories, and a whole lot of laughter
- Craft-inspired kitchen projects that blended creativity with practicality — because food is art, too
Every recipe wasn’t just a dish. It was a moment. A memory. A story we told together.
The Stories That Made Us Laugh (and Sometimes Tear Up)
This year, we didn’t just cook — we talked. We shared the behind-the-scenes moments that make a kitchen feel alive:
- The teens raiding the fridge mid-photo shoot
- My husband swooping in with his grill-master confidence
- The cats acting like sous-chefs with zero qualifications
- The quiet mornings when a cup of coffee and a warm skillet felt like a reset button
- The holidays where family filled the house with noise, love, and just the right amount of chaos
These stories are the heartbeat of this blog. They’re the reason recipes feel like conversations instead of instructions.
Thank You for Being Here
Whether you tried one recipe or twenty, left a comment, shared a post, or simply read along quietly — thank you. Your support, your presence, and your willingness to cook with me have made this space feel like a true community.
You’ve turned my kitchen stories into something bigger than me. And I’m endlessly grateful.
Here’s to 2026
I can’t wait to bring you more recipes, more stories, more crafts, more laughter, and more honest glimpses into the beautiful mess of family life. There’s so much goodness ahead, and I’m thrilled to share it with you.
Cheers to another year of cooking, creating, and connecting — from my kitchen to yours.
Happy New Year, friends. Let’s make 2026 delicious.
