A Christmas Night Full of Family, Food, and All the Good Stuf

There’s something magical about a Christmas gathering that just clicks. Last night we headed over to my brother‑in‑law and sister‑in‑law’s house for our family Christmas dinner, and it was one of those nights that fills you up in all the best ways.

The cousins were laughing and running around, the adults were swapping stories, and the house had that perfect holiday buzz — the kind that only happens when good food, good people, and a whole lot of love collide. We played games, we ate way too much, and we soaked up every minute. Nights like that remind me just how lucky I am. Love you, fam.

And because the universe clearly decided to spoil me this weekend, this morning my husband took me out for breakfast at Twisted Kilt. He went straight for the corned beef and hash — his forever favorite — while I ordered the biscuit‑and‑gravy bowl. Let me tell you… so good and way too filling, but I regret nothing.

It was the perfect little morning date after a full, joyful Christmas night. My heart (and stomach) are still very, very full.
